About this Talk
Neurodivergence: Building a Practice that Meets Your Needs
Lots of advice about writing habits takes a one-size-fits-all approach—and assumes the writer is neurotypical. If you're a neurodivergent writer, that advice probably falls short of your needs (to put it mildly). Being neurodivergent can mean:
- Fluctuating energy levels and capacity
- A tendency toward intense focus or a strong need for novelty (or both!)
- Challenges implementing rigid habits or struggles with disruptions to your routine
And so much more.
In this session, late-diagnosed neurodivergent writer, editor, and coach Bailey Lang will discuss building a writing practice that meets your needs. You'll leave with the inspiration you need to cultivate a writing practice that is customizable, sustainable, and, above all, enjoyable.
